What do you get when Mother Nature decides to wield the paint brush? If the natural and man-made rock features and monuments were not enough, we have the colourful caves in Petra to admire too.

If you make the effort to clamber onto some big rocks and enter the caves, especially those opposite the main theatre, you will be surprised (as I was) to see the colour inside. Not painted, but original! I could go on looking at them for a long time. Isn’t geology wonderful?
