A European vacation will fulfill your expectations beyond compare. It is a veritable traveller’s paradise waiting to be discovered and explored. So we planned our holidays to Europe for 15 days and we took two destinations – Paris and Switzerland. Both the places are very beautiful and refreshing.
Summer holidays had begun and our hunt for destinations too. So we finalized our trip to Europe. We chose Paris and Switzerland as both are considered to be heavens on earth.
Our first stop was Paris. Reaching Paris was a wonderful experience and mesmerising. We went to see the Eiffel Tower, which was amazing and also saw the courtyard where the shooting of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom took place. One cannot miss the cruise experience as one can see the sculptured monuments, enjoy the weather and the unlimited drinks and snacks served. We really enjoyed the roadside restaurants, something that we don’t get to see in India.
One whole day that we spent at Disneyland seemed too little. The children enjoyed the dangerous rides and the cartoon parade. We didn’t feel like leaving Disneyland but our cab was waiting.
From Paris we took a flight to Zurich and from there we took the Euro rail to Interlaken. The scenic beauty from the train is a unique experience. Switzerland is a paradise on earth. We went to Mount Jungfrau. It was very cold there but we enjoyed the snow games and the ice museum. The Bollywood Indian restaurant is very famous there.

To go to Mount Titlis we have to go through a revolving air trolley, which is real fun. There are a lot of ice games and also ice-skating to be enjoyed there. Not only the weather and the scenic beauty but also the people are very nice there. One can return from there without shopping for Swiss knives, watches and cuckoo clocks and the yummy Swiss chocolates.
Our trip was really fun-filled, joyous and the memories of its scenic beauty and awesome weather will always remain etched in our minds.
